Tommy entered the real estate
business in 1955, after ten years working in association with his father, IL (Irv)
Tucker in his father's
manufacturing business. In 1958, Tommy Tucker Realty Co. was founded.
In 1969, Tommy Tucker acquired Professional Management Associates Co., which is
our property management division. Tommy is a
Realtor® Emeritus and is a past president of the Cedar
Rapids Area and Iowa Association of Realtors. Tommy served previously as a
Regional Vice President of the National Association of Realtors.

In 1988, Tommy invited his son,
Robin Tucker, to join the two companies as controller. Robin
Tucker and
Tommy Tucker are members of the
Cedar Rapids Area Association of Realtors®, the local
multiple listing service, as well as the Iowa and National Association of
Realtors®. Both are active
members of Rotary International.

Judy Nicholls and LaVon Sayre have been affiliated with Tommy Tucker Realty
Co. for over 20 years. They are also members of the CRAAR, IAR and NAR,
which are the local, state and National.
As of 2011, Joel Lahey has gone inactive and is not
in the practice of real estate. Joel was affiliated with Tommy Tucker
Realty Co. from October 2009 to the end of 2010. We wish Joel the very
best in his future endeavors.
Tommy Tucker has achieved Realtor®
Emeritus status with the National Association of Realtors. Mr. Tucker's
service has included service as the former local board president of the Cedar
Rapids Association of Realtors, former state president of the Iowa Association
of Realtors and
former national vice president of the National Association of Realtors during his more than 50 years of service to the industry.
Tommy Tucker has been awarded many honors from various levels of the industry
during his 53+ years.
LaVerne Tucker, Tommy's wife,
retired from real estate practice at the end of 2007. LaVerne has been an
active part of Tommy Tucker Realty Co. in a variety of capacities during the 50
years of service that Tommy Tucker Realty Co. has provided to customers and
clients in the State of Iowa. She is active in a variety of organizations.
Tommy Tucker has worked hard
to improve the community through his work in Civil Rights and the Housing
Industry. Tommy was original board member of the Cedar Rapids Civil Right
Commission, serving the City for 31 years.
Robin Tucker served on the
2004-05 Home Rule Charter Commission for the City of Cedar Rapids. Also,
Robin has been active in a variety of youth and adult sports activities over the
years. Robin is active on Government Affairs and Professional Standards
committees with the Cedar Rapids
Association of Realtors. He has been active with the Cedar Rapids Chamber
of Commerce over the years. He is involved in the 'Who
Is My Neighbor' award and Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration at St.
Paul's UMC.
Robin's secretary is an active
volunteer for many years at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids.
